TWENTY Knutsford Hosts will be promoting the town at this years RHS show at Tatton Park.

Some 80,000 visitors are expected to visit this year's show which features more than 500 exhibitors across three zones - Feast, Grow and Inspire.

And the Knutsford Hosts will be there to fly the flag for Knutsford by handing out town guides and encouraging people to visit Knutsford's shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants.

"It’s been great that Tatton Park and the RHS can partner with Knutsford Hosts for the second year running at the 2015 RHS Tatton Park Flower Show," said Carole Mullineux, Tatton Park Business Development Manager.

"As one of the most prestigious events in the North West calendar, the flower show really helps put Knutsford on the map. I’m pleased the Hosts can use this opportunity to help promote local communities and businesses.”

The hosts will be based around the Tatton Park stand and marquee.

"Being a Knutsford Host isn't just about supporting charity and community initiatives, it's also about being a Town Ambassador," said Knutsford Hosts founder Sarah Flannery.

"Having 20 volunteers working during the flower show handing out town guides and encouraging people to visit the town during their stay is an invaluable part of what we do as Knutsford Hosts.

"Last year, although the Hosts had only recently formed, both the RHS and Tatton Park welcomed our initiative and we are delighted to be back again this year to further cement the relationship between Tatton Park and Knutsford."

The Knutsford Hosts are also supporting the town's retailers by accompanying the RHS Tatton judges round the town centre as they judge the floral exhibits on display during the flower show.
