HOLMES Chapel resident Brian Spencer is the winner of a £30 voucher in the Holmes Chapel Neighbourhood Plan draw held recently during the Spring Fair at the Victoria Club.
Villagers were asked to submit their ideas for keeping Holmes Chapel a great place to live, work and play.
All the submissions will be used to help determine the key issues that need to be addressed by the plan.
Brian said: "As a family we have lived in the village for 46 years and we care passionately about it. I chose to spend the money at the local Butchers, Phil Davies, because local shops need our support and I wished the family to benefit from the prize by hosting a family BBQ."
A spokesman for the plan said: "The Neighbourhood Plan team would like to thank everyone who entered the draw and congratulate Brian on winning the prize.
"Work on the plan is going well and residents will be asked to submit their views on a questionnaire that will be delivered to every house during August."
