POLICE executed a drugs warrant at a property in Knutsford yesterday morning after receiving community intelligence.

At 9.31am on Wednesday May 20, Knutsford Police raided the flat in Southfields, finding cannabis and paraphernalia pointing to the use of heroin.

A 27-year-old woman has been summonsed to Magistrate’s Court for possession of a Class B drug.

Sergeant Alison Howarth who is in charge of the case said: “This information has come to light following a leaflet drop encouraging residents to support the police with intelligence.

“The contribution of people in the local community is vitally important. These are the people who can spot what is out of place and they provide our best source of intelligence.

“I would urge people to continue coming forward with information and continue their support for the local police force.”
