THE Children’s Adventure Farm Trust and The Brookdale Clinic worked together to create an afternoon of pampering at The Mere Golf Resort and Spa.

A range of companies, including Knutsford Nails and Clarins, provided taster sessions for more than 150 ladies and gave advice based around the events theme of health and beauty.

Cathie Stone, from The Brookdale Clinic, Knutsford, said: “The event gave us the opportunity to educate people in the importance of seeking help from experts in a centre of excellence.”

Guests were joined by the charity’s patrons Carol Nash OBE and Suzan Holder and were invited to take part in a grand raffle, which raised more than £1,600.

Julie Gray, community and events fundraiser from CAFT, said: “This was such a lovely afternoon and we are so grateful to all of our wonderful guests who joined us.

“All of the money raised will help local terminally ill, disabled and disadvantaged children.”

The charity relies totally on donations and needs to raise £1million to continue its work.
