THE final episode of a reality series detailing the lives of some of Cheshire's wealthy housewives airing this evening, Monday, will feature a special trip to a Knutsford restaurant.

The Belle Epoque on King Street will feature in the final episode of the 'Real Housewives of Cheshire' that will be on the small screen this evening at 10pm.

Launched in January, the series follows the experiences of six women living in the county.

And according to insiders the series comes to an 'explosive' end.

Footage will show stars Lauren Simon and Magali Gorre filmed sipping champagne and having a good gossip at the Belle Epoque.

Matthew Mooney, the owner of the Belle Époque, said he had been sworn to secrecy.

“I’ve been asked many times about the filming and what happened," he said.

"But the truth is it was a closed set, they would only let the cast and crew into the restaurant apart from our manager Albert, who was filmed pouring their Champagne and he’s staying tight-lipped.

"Magali and Lauren were delightful and have been to the Belle Époque many times since and have always been extremely pleasant with our staff and customers and have always found time to pose with fans for pictures, I don’t think they take themselves too seriously."

This is not the first time the Belle Époque has been used for filming, it was used for the original series of Brideshead Revisited featuring Lawrence Olivier and Jeremy Irons.

The final episode airs tonight, Monday, on ITVBe at 10pm.
