COMMUNITY-conscious residents have helped secure the arrests of two men on drug-related charges.

Two men were arrested for drug offences following a search warrant at a Mobberley home on Saturday, November 29.

Police officers raided the property on Badgers Croft shortly after 6pm after receiving intelligence from members of the public. 

A small amount of white powder was recovered along with equipment suspected to be used in the supply of drugs.

The two men were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs. The first man is aged 22 and from Knutsford and the second man is aged 25 and from Congleton.

They have been bailed until February pending forensic enquiries. A 24-hour closure notice was placed on the address following the warrant.

Sgt Simon Degg, from Knutsford Police, said: “This warrant highlights the zero tolerance approach which we take towards drug crime in the Knutsford area.

“Information from members of the public is vital in the fight against drug-related crime and we urge anyone with any information in relation to suspected drug use and supply in the area to contact us.”
