A KNUTSFORD poet and songwriter will be bringing World War One to life at Knutsford Heritage Centre this Saturday.

Charlotte Peters Rock will be giving an illustrated performance of ‘Aspects of the Great War’ at the King Street centre at noon on November 8.

This hour long performance of original song and story is researched and written around a range of aspects of the ‘war to end all wars’.

The performance is in conjunction with the war-themed window installations currently in place across the town.

The ‘Aspects of The Great War’ installation can be seen at The Old Town Hall and a variety of installations, ranging from world history to child stories, are located at Canute Square.

All of the installations have been written and arranged by Charlotte and will be in place until November 16.

Tickets for Saturday’s performance are priced at £8 each – or £7.20 for Friends - and can be purchased from the heritage centre. A light lunch will be included.
