KNUTSFORD Academy has announced the winners of their successful ‘Essay of the Year’ competition.
The annual competition is run within the school’s Business and Economics Department.
Head of Department Nicola Martin said: “It is vital that our students realise the importance of depth of research and independent study to give them the best chance of competing for desirable university places or apprenticeships.
“The fact that prestigious local businesses have sponsored our student essays is amazing and our thanks go to Booths, Guy Salmon and RBS for donating such generous prizes.”
Essay winners were Charlotte Hotchin and Luke Jones (Year 13 Business joint winners), Niall Robertson (Year 13 Economics), Jack Harmsworth (Year 12 Economist) and James Derbyshire (Year 12 Business).
