MARIE Curie fundraisers are thanking generous Knutsfordians for helping make their latest charity collection their most successful.
On Friday and Saturday members of The Knutsford Marie Curie Cancer Care fundraising group set up at Booths supermarket to collect for the Great Daffodil Appeal.
The total raised through the collection was £1,470, a record for the group.
A spokesperson for the group said: “The Knutsford Marie Curie Cancer Care fundraising group wishes to thank Booths customers for their generosity and support at our collection there at the weekend.
“We raised a record amount, which will be used to provide for nursing care and support to local patients and families.
“Thank you to Booths for hosting the event for us once again and for the help of their staff.”
