FINE dining pub, The Bells of Peover, has announced the arrival of new general manager, Jose Lourenco.

Jose, who originally hails from Portugal, has lived in the UK for the past 14 years having worked in various roles within the hospitality sector including four years as a manager at Mobberley’s, Plough and Flail.

Bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and experience from the industry, Jose’s background will certainly be an asset to The Bells of Peover as it continues to serve up award winning dishes.

Jose, 33, said: “The Bells of Peover is a fabulous pub and is widely renowned in Cheshire for its food, service and charming setting.

“I am truly honoured to have joined such a fantastic team and I hope that my love of good food can develop the menu further and my expertise in customer service can create the perfect dining experience for customers.

“As I settle into the new role, I am constantly learning about the pubs rich heritage and this year is especially exciting as it is the anniversary of the date that the American General Eisenhower and General Patton made their famous plans for the D-Day invasion of Normandy here at The Bells of Peover.

“Having recently been granted a Civil Marriage License, we are currently being inundated with requests from newly engaged couples looking to tie the knot here, so it is set to be a very busy year for us.”
