Sainsbury's show their support for Kite Explorer Scouts of Knutsford

SAINSBURY’S have got on board with Kite Explorer Scouts of Knutsford to help fund their upcoming adventures. 

The Canute Place store presented £200 to the group at their weekly meeting on February 10, which took place at the Knutsford District Scout Group headquarters, on Mansion Drive.

The donation will go towards upgrading the group’s camping equipment and secure storage space for the equipment.

Store Manager Kate Norton said: “It was great to meet the scouts and we are honoured to be able to sponsor these inspirational young adults gain life skills within the local community.”

The store will be continuing to support the scouts through sponsorships throughout the year.  This week, Kate also made a donation of £100 worth of vouchers to the Knutsford Gang Show, which is currently running at Mobberley Victory Hall.
