KNUTSFORD’S top industry leaders are set to be ‘locked up’ for a British Red Cross charity event.

Joe Tully, managing director at de Poel, and Tim Kirby, managing director at My Mate, have agreed to do some hard time to raise money for the British Red Cross at this year’s Jail and Bail event.

On Thursday, November 14, Joe and Tim will join other high profile ‘felons’ at the Greater Manchester Police Museum, where they will be ‘arrested’, read the list of alleged crimes and thrown into the museums cells.

Their conditions of release – raise £999.

All the felons will be relying on the very people who submitted their crimes – crimes against bad parking and bad taste in music to name a few – to sponsor them and get them out from behind bars.

Joe said: “I'm really looking forward to taking part in Jail and Bail, especially as it’s for such a fantastic charity.

“I'm a little nervous about the list of crimes I’ll be charged with.

“Fingers crossed my colleagues, family and friends will take pity on me and help me reach my bail target.

“I hope they don't leave me in there for too long.”
