FIRE crews from Knutsford and Northwich were called to a business on Longridge Industrial Estate after a fire broke out in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The firefighters found a fire in the ground floor of the unit housing Terrys Lifts at 12.51am.
They used a hose reel jet to put out the blaze which had started in an electrical cupboard.
The centre of the fire was extinguished using a CO2 extinguisher as a covering jet was targeted on the unit.
A high pressure fan was used to ventilate the property and clear all the smoke and the electricity company was asked to attend.
