A POPULAR event that features a series of talks throughout the month of February is taking place once again this year.

The Friends of the Heritage Centre are putting on the ‘February Forum’ series of talks again this year, with the first taking place on Saturday, February 2.

The session will see David Bryant talking about country chairs.

David is a founder member of the Cheshire Guild of Wood Turners.

He has contributed over 100 articles to magazines including Practical Woodworking, Woodworker, Spin-Off, and Atélier Bois.

He has written four books, ‘Wheels & Looms’, ‘The Traditional Furniture Maker’, ‘Wooden Clock Cases’ and ‘Classic Country Chairs’.

The talk starts at noon and is followed by light refreshments.

Tickets are £6 each (£5.40 to ‘Friends’) or book all four for just £20.
