THREE piece band Sparrow and the Workshop, from Glasgow, are touring this month.

Jill O'Sullivan on vocals/guitar, Nick Packer, guitar and vocals and Gregor Donaldson, on drums and vocals, make up the trio.

Their debut album Crystals Fall was released in April.

lWhat can we expect from the highly anticipated second LP?'

Gregor - Well I think it's fair to say we have developed a more cohesive sound and this next record will inevitably have more continuity than the last as it will be recorded in the same place, whereas Crystals was more a collection of recordings. There are songs and melodies set for the new record that are really great fun to play, very emotional at times, we are really excited about getting in to the studio.

lYou will be touring the UK in October – what can we expect from your live shows?'

Gregor - This will be the first time we have toured a headline set so it's a chance to really show the diversity of our songs and write set lists that will hopefully keep people interested for 45 mins - 1 hour. We've toyed with the idea of playing the Crystal Fall album in full and in order but we are still making last minute plans.
