LETTER: ‘HS2 is not about speed’?
SO Vince Chadwick reckons HS2 is not about speed. Strange then that it’s called ‘HS2’ which I presume doesn’t stand for higher seat numbers.
I do agree on one thing though - I fail to see how it will make his or my journey any faster when we’ll have to travel to Manchester or Crewe to get on the train in the first place.
