CONCERNING the Mobberley 20mph limit – I totally and unreservedly agree and have signed the petition.
Another issue is the lack of any control over pavement parking in the area of the shops. Pedestrian crossings and zig zag and double yellow lines are fair game.
Numerous times I have tried to exit the shops’ parking areas to find myself causing the not noticeable traffic having to take avoidance. If an accident occurred it would be without doubt my fault.
There is also the inability to walk at the either edge of the road on Mill Lane as cars are parked on it and also on the opposite side of the road, making it a requirement to walk in the middle of the road. This is an accident waiting to happen.
By all means park on one side but not both. Double yellow lines are already at the lower end.
Soap box put away.
