TWO reports this week have shown us all with what disdain the Conservative Government is treating the climate emergency.

At the very time when we need to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels, Esther McVey’s Government gives the go-ahead to starting coalmining again, in Cumbria.

At the very time when we need fewer car journeys and a turning towards public transport, it has been announced that evening services for the 88, 89, and 188 local bus services have been scrapped.

How can anyone trust this Government to protect the future lives of our children and grandchildren, when they appear to deny there’s anything wrong.
