FOLLOWING a letter printed recently in the Guardian about blood tests, Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust can confirm that the phlebotomy drop-in service at Northwich’s Victoria Infirmary is still available.
Many surgeries in the surrounding area have an in-house phlebotomy service available and patients should book a phlebotomy appointment within their local GP practice in the first instance.
Victoria Infirmary’s service is available to patients registered at a number of local GP practices, however, as well as outpatients and Macmillan patients at both Leighton Hospital and Victoria Infirmary. If you have any questions about Mid Cheshire Hospitals’ phlebotomy services please contact our Phlebotomy Manager on 01270 273259.
