I WONDER how many of the public who are devoted to the Cheshire Show know that, if HS2 is ever built, it will destroy the present showground?

It seems that HS2 Ltd will have a stand at the show next week. I would love to be a fly on the wall as they try to persuade showgoers of the merits of HS2, knowing that the showground will cease to exist.

However, HS2 Ltd will not have it all their own way. Mid Cheshire Against HS2 will also have a stand at the show. We will be located in the Shoppers Mews. Make sure you visit our stand, where you will find detailed data about the project you will not find on HS2 Ltd’s stand.
