THE Masonic Hall in Knutsford and the activities of the Freemasons has attracted interest that must be clarified.

The previous management of the Leicester Warren Hall used the venue for weddings and other activities which were not anything to do with Masonic use. In fact these functions were private.

The problems of behaviour were totally connected with the non- Masonic meetings and as such being part of the business of the previous management, were not under any direction or control of the Freemasons, whose meeting are usually held in the evenings.

It is generally very well known that Freemasons’ good conduct and behaviour is very rarely brought in to question.

Freemasons are very aware that they wish to be associated only with the good of endeavours for society and this is very amply illustrated by the huge charitable contributions which they make.
