WHILE I can understand residents’ annoyance at the inconvenience caused by the Makers Market in Knutsford, to describe what they have to put up with as ‘misery’ (We’re Ignored – last week’s letters’ page) seems a huge exaggeration.
The market takes place just once a month, is a huge draw, attracting many people to our beautiful town, and I have seen no evidence that it ‘endangers lives’, as suggested in last week’s letter.
I personally wouldn’t like to put up with all the disturbance on my doorstep, so that’s why I wouldn’t live in a town centre. We have choices.
