Think about the long term
READ the article about Sibelco building a sand quarry in Allostock and Cranage.
What I would like to point out to people opposing this is, yes, there will be a lot more traffic as in wagons for a few years, however, when the quarrying is finished, there will be lakes and lovely countryside.
If the quarrying doesn’t happen, in a few years time the land will be covered in housing estates.
Which would you prefer?
Look at Lower Withington. If it wasn’t for the quarrying it would probably be joined to Chelford with houses.
Think long term.
