WHILE appreciating the useful information contained within The Voice autumn edition, I would like to mention some defects in Cheshire East’s services to provide some balance.

Although the borough’s website allows constituents to access a variety of services and report issues, it is a different matter when you need to speak or meet someone.

Too many points of contact are focused on Crewe and Macclesfield, making it challenging for residents from other parts of the borough to voice concerns or access services not easily available online.

I suggest that Cheshire East members of staff spend more time visiting focal points in the borough routinely and that these visits are widely advertised so that the need to travel often by public transport to the two main centres is reduced.
