Why do we bother with recycling bins?
I LIKE to think that I am quite careful in selecting things to go into my silver recycling bin and also only putting items suitable for composting in the green bin.
Imagine my surprise today when a single bin lorry, apparently on hire, turned up and promptly tipped both bins into the same lorry.
Why do we bother?
