EACH day, in and around Lower Peover, we witness unsafe, fast driving practices despite the short distances travelled and the many blind corners.
An example is Broome Lane which links Free Green Lane with the Middlewich Road.
It is only about 200 yards in length, from end to end. It would take seven seconds at 60mph and 14 seconds at 30mph.
The difference in time is insignificant but important to the safety of pedestrians, pet dogs and horses and ponies that often use the Lane.
Is it not time for a country driving safety awareness campaign?
