IN his letter ‘We know what we voted for’ Phil Griffiths suggests that Remain supporters are spreading doom and gloom.
This is clearly ridiculous.
In the past few weeks members of the government have variously confirmed that a no deal Brexit is most likely, that plans are being made to stockpile medicines and that action to secure the country’s food supply will be needed should no agreement with the EU be reached.
What can be agreed is that as Mr Griffiths says ‘the Brexit process is without doubt in a complete mess’.
Something needs to be done to resolve this crisis and surely what is needed is the chance for everyone to have a say by way of a people’s vote.
