WE had a lovely walk on Friday morning – quite early in Tatton Park – it was absolutely beautiful in there with the weather being so good.

We walked a couple of miles into the park and back out again – enjoying the fresh air.

The oddest thing was seeing all the small black plastic bags neatly placed round the base of trees – we counted at least 12 bags laid on the floor.

Now obviously these bags were bags of dogs mess ready for the bin.

Why did these owners think it’s OK to leave them on the floor for someone else to pick up?

Do they think that Tatton does a pick up service round the park?

It’s a very strange habit – I did not see any bins for the purpose in Tatton but I wondered why these people could not take it home and bin it there.

It’s your dog and it’s your responsibility to pick it up.

Yes you put it in a bag but you need to find a bin to put it in.

Please stop leaving them littering the parkland.

You’re spoiling the view.
