I would like to thank all the residents of Norbury Booths ward who voted for me in the by-election to Knutsford Town Council last week, and to everyone who helped me during the election.
I’d also like to thank my opponent, Quentin Abel, for running a clean and principled campaign.
It has been great to meet and talk to so many of you over the past few months, and I want thank you for being so friendly and welcoming – whether you voted for me or not.
A lot of you expressed concerns on various issues in Knutsford, but especially about the parking and traffic in and around the town.
I will do whatever I can to highlight this problem within the council and work with colleagues on Cheshire East Council to see what can be done.
Knutsford is a great place to live, and I will work with my fellow councillors to keep it that way and address any local issues.
However you voted, I am here to represent all residents in Norbury Booths ward, so if there is anything you want to highlight or discuss, I can be contacted at elizabeth.
