OUR Prime Minister spoke of the great importance and reliance we have on the armed forces who protect our freedom.
Similarly, Prince Harry has spoken of the dedication and sacrifices given by our soldiers, sailors and airmen in his Christmas interviews.
We, the British public, recognise this regularly, notably in November, by prayer and remembrance at war memorials throughout the country.
However, sadly the British Red Cross and McCarthy and Stone consider the War Memorial Hospital in Knutsford fair game for a business opportunity and plan to demolish it for development.
