I love The Moor.
It is a fantastic open space in Knutsford which is well used by children, people keeping fit, dog walkers and the like, but these days it’s become increasingly perilous to access it.
At all times of the day we get cyclists pelting full speed up and down the “foot” paths as a quick cut through between Mobberley Road and the town centre.
They do this without a care for pedestrians.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t The Moor encircled by roads?
Surely at the speed these cyclists travel it wouldn’t be too much of a diversion to go around?
I feel it won’t be too long before there’s a serious collision with a child.
Please can we keep footpaths for feet and roads for wheels?
