I READ about the MP for Tatton’s fight against the boundary review but I fail to see the merit in the protest.
Ideally, we need an MP who can be involved in his/her community, having a regular surgery, who is concerned with serious local issues such as the War Memorial Hospital debacle.
The British Red Cross did not pay one penny, yet acquired it by borrowing a substantial sum from the National Health Service.
The War Memorial belongs to the people of Knutsford, who paid for its erection.
We do not need an MP who comes up from London for flying visits for photo-shoots for the day and disappears back to London until the next photo-shoots are arranged.
In my view this is an absolute insult to the responsible position held and the constituents who are deprived of full and proper representation.
