HOW can the Cheshire East Council’s accountants be so wrong in their estimates for the two toilets in Bexton Road and King Street and how could the Knutsford Town Council accept the business plan without checking the figures?
If the £18,215 yearly revenue given in your lead story last week is correct then it would appear each venue was expected to be used 125 times a day every day of the year.
Maybe the Cheshire East Council think we have weak bladders in Knutsford or that we drink too much or that we are flush with money.
It looks as if we are going to have to pay for it for the next 23 years.
