TABLEY House Collection is on the lookout for new volunteers and welcomes inquiries from people who think this may be the opportunity for them. Tabley House is open to the public each year from April to October, and its team of enthusiastic volunteers is essential in enabling this to happen. If you are interested in historic houses, art or local history, and enjoy meeting people, then Tabley would like to hear from you. "One of the most frequent comments we receive from visitors to Tabley is how friendly and helpful our volunteers are," says Clare Pye, chairman of the Tabley House Collection Trust. "They play such an important role in bringing to life the history of the house, the Leicester family, and their important art collection."
All new volunteers at Tabley receive training and support and can participate at their own pace. They are able to choose the dates they volunteer so as to fit in with other commitments, and the amount of time they commit — whether a regular number of hours a week or a few hours a month.
