FAVOURITES Mobberley A extended their lead to double figures after winning their top-of-the-table clash with title rivals Knutsford Cons B this week, writes Tony Crompton.
Their advantage is worth ten points following a single-frame success.
Mobberley’s Neil Marshall (50) and Cons’ Graham Walls (51) both cued half-century breaks.
Elsewhere Royal London won at Brook Street to match Cons’ points haul for the term, while Mobberley B scored only a second success of the season at Wilmslow Cons A.
Wayne Hammond contributed a 39-break in the 5-2 win, leaving the wooden spoonists six points from safety.
