A SEVEN-YEAR-OLD golf sensation has an opportunity to set the world alight this month.
Rupert Ramsden, born and bred in High Legh, will be making his way over to the prestigious Loch Erne Resort in Northern Ireland to compete in the 'Champion of Champions' World Golf Championship competition.
With 250 juniors from all over the world competing, Rupert has been invited to play in his under eights category as one of only 30 juniors selected from around the globe.
Rupert, who enjoys playing at The Mere Golf Resort with his dad, has been able to swing a club and hit a ball since as soon as he was able to walk.
And he has since developed an amazing swing for which he has been complimented on by a host of golf professionals.
Rupert has also been noticed on his Instagram account by Masters victor Danny Willet and has earned himself a follow from the major winner.
He trains with golf pro and long-drive expert Tom Lewis at the newly founded Torque Golf Centre in Altrincham.
Following on from some important wins already this year, many are now looking forward to watching Rupert compete against the world’s best, albeit at seven-years-old, in Ireland.
