KNUTSFORD racer Michael Igoe will tackle round three of the 2022 British GT Championship at Silverstone this weekend, writes Ste McNorton.

Igoe, in his WPI Motorsport Lamborghini Huracan GT3, is partnered for a second season by Phil Keen and they will be looking to build on round one and two performances at Oulton Park over Easter.

That weekend, after two 60-minute practice sessions, the qualifying shoot-out was held.

In that, the pro drivers and amateur drivers set separate times to dictate the grid for Monday's opening race.

With times being then combined, Igoe and Keen were ninth and sixth respectively.

As the laps ticked by Igoe dropped a place, but Keen eventually came home in a great fourth place.

Race two was the same format but this time Igoe started in sixth place.

The No18 car again made a good start and maintained position with Igoe finishing overall sixth.
