THE Knutsford and District Amateur Snooker League is back with a bang, and week one saw some really eye-catching results and performances.
It was great to see Morley Green back in the league and they started with a 5-2 win over Mere A, which included some impressive ton-plus scores from Paul Hart and Keith Aldred.
Summer League winners Shaw Heath continued their good form with a 5-2 win over Tatton C, which included a 37 break from Sam Jackson.
The Wilmslow teams also impressed in the Summer League and both looked strong again this week – the A team winning 5-2 against Mobberley B and the B team beating Mere C 6-1.
There were also derby matches at Tatton and Mobberley. Mobberley C had a fine 5-2 win against their A team and Tatton A edged a nail-biting match with their B team where there was just one point in the aggregate.
