CYCLISTS in Wilmslow have been given some pointers as to how to keep their bicycles in good running order.

CycleWilmslow – a voluntary group advocating cycling for transport, leisure and a healthy lifestyle – has been hosted a series of bike maintenance workshops, the latest of which was held at St John’s Hall in Lindow on Monday.

Darren Allgood of Allgood Cycling was on hand to deliver the sessions and CycleWilmslow chairman Rob Sawyer believes they have been a worthwhile exercise.

“The feedback from the participants was very positive,” he said.

“Darren delivered an excellent, hands-on, session which covered the basics of cycle maintenance.”

Knutsford Guardian:

The group intends to organise intermediate-level cycle maintenance training sessions in 2020 – anybody interested in attending should email cyclewilmslow@gmail.com.

CycleWilmslow’s next open meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 26, at the King’s Arms pub on Alderley Road, starting at 7.45pm.

All are welcome to attend and membership of the group is free of charge – visit cyclewilmslow.org.uk to join.
