TATTON could not prevent Mobberley A from celebrating another historic achievement in the Knutsford and District Amateur League last week.
The holders triumphed in a one-sided Team Knockout Cup final at Alderley Union to become the first side to win a double in three successive seasons.
And they did so in style too, overturning a 100-point handicap deficit on the way to amassing a huge collective total of 456 points.
Brook Street A edged a step closer to finishing as runners-up in Division One after squeezing past closest-rivals Shaw Heath, who occupied the position last season, in their head-to-head.
A slender 4-3 win leaves the sides separated by eight points.
There were victories in the top-flight too for the champions and Tatton against relegated Mere A and Alderley Union respectively.
Josh Street scored 113 points in his frame success for Mobberley C when they beat Mere C in a Division Two encounter.
Meanwhile Mere B’s 6-1 win against Wilmslow RBL ensured they will occupy the second promotion place behind leaders Wilmslow Cons.
Mobberley D lost on aggregate at home to Brook Street B, for whom Chris Parker racked up 100.
