HOLMES Chapel resume a quest they hope ends with another promotion when they visit Crewe and Nantwich seconds on Saturday.
The men from Station Road occupy top spot in the North West Intermediate League’s Division Two South, a single point clear of Chester’s thirds, after winning four successive matches since the turn of the year.
They were denied by the wintry weather from making progress in the Robinsons Brewery Trophy last weekend when a quarter-finals encounter with Aldwinians seconds was postponed.
That tie has been rescheduled for later this month on Saturday, February 23.
