WILMSLOW High School pupils enjoyed more trampolining success in the North of England Finals in Belfast.

Thirty-three students made the trip across the Irish Sea on the back of December’s outstanding qualification performance in Wigan, where 15 pupils secured a top-three finish.

Three students, Joe Walmsley, Lara Plant and Mia Greenwood, were crowned as North of England individual champions.

Seven Wilmslow High teams finished in the medal positions, four collecting gold.

This was against stiff competition of more than 460 competitors from 110 schools all over the north.

The successful Wilmslow pupils have now qualified for the national finals, which will take place in Cannock on Saturday, March 2.

Coach Hilary Pemberton has every confidence that her students can build on previous years, and go on to claim even more national success.
