TATTON are the only side standing between Mobberley A and another historic achievement in the Knutsford and District Amateur League.
The Division One rivals both emerged as comfortable victors from last week’s Team Knockout semi-finals and will meet in March to decide the destination of the trophy.
Mobberley have won a league and cup double in each of the past two seasons, setting a record by doing so, and brushed aside Mobberley C in a last-four encounter that featured a ton-plus frame from Bruce Tulley.
Tatton set aside their troubles in the league to crush Alderley Union by a huge 93-point margin in their meeting.
