BROOK Street A continue to lead the way in the Knutsford and District Amateur League’s top-flight following after edging Mere A in the latest round.
Martin Sharpe was their star turn, amassing 108 points in his frame success.
Mobberley A, the defending champions, remain close behind following a flattering 6-1 win against Shaw Heath while Alderley Union won at Mobberley B by the same margin.
Wilmslow Cons climbed to the Division Two summit as a reward for brushing aside Brook Street B, making the most of Mere B having no game.
Mobberley C recorded a first victory of the season, if only just, against Mobberley D and Wilmslow RBL proved too strong for Mere C.
