OVER Peover had the better of a draw with Audlem last weekend and remain in contention to challenge for promotion.
The hosts scored 236-7 at Wellbank Lane, where openers David Owen (62) and Dexter Mann (44) laid a foundation before Stephen Price (77) accelerated the scoring later.
Captain Matt Dobson rotated his attack in an attempt to dismiss the Cheshire League Division Four leaders, and was almost rewarded.
Rob Jones (3-40), Joe Mitchell (3-33) and Mark Nightingale (2-23) contributed as Audlem limped to 124-9.
Peover sit fifth in the table, 38 points adrift of second spot, ahead of a trip to Westminster Park on Saturday.
