KNUTSFORD clinched their fourth Cheshire League title in the past seven years on Saturday with a win against Congleton Vale.
They still have five games to play, but cannot be caught by those giving chase.
It means the men from Manchester Road have now won a double this season after prevailing in the Cheshire FA Amateur final last month.
A 3-0 victory at Manchester Road was secured thanks to goals from Ben Brooks and Liam Myers, while the visitors also contributed to Reds’ total.
Knutsford are 14 points clear of second-placed Whaley Bridge, who took top spot last season, after a sequence of nine wins from their past 10 Premier Division fixtures took them clear of their rivals.
The club’s latest league triupmh is their second with Scott Dignan in charge, although he has managed the team in tandem with Paul Riley and David Schofield this season.
They continue a run-in at home to Linotype Cheadle Heath Nomads on Tuesday.
