VICTORY Hall A have overcome another obstacle on a path to successfully defending their Knutsford Friday Bowling League top-flight title.

A home win against Knutsford A is a 17th in succession during the current campaign.

Railway A returned seven winning cards in an emphatic victory at Church Inn B to strengthen their hold on second spot, while Swettenham A scored a full house against Mere A.

Mere B, conquerors of visiting Goostrey A, were the only side in the bottom six to avoid a defeat.

Knutsford B remain favourites to claim top spot in Division Two after scoring a full house at home to Church Inn A.

Swettenham B occupy the second promotion place after prevailing at Warford Park A.

There were away wins too for Warford Park B and Victory Hall B at Chelford B and Oughtrington B respectively.
