JONNY Scurrah and George Bell steered Alderley Edge’s seconds to a home victory over Macclesfield counterparts on Saturday.
Scurrah (71no) and Bell (45no) ensured the hosts comfortably passed the 138 target.
Ollie Hall (19) played his part too.
Scurrah (2-17) also got among the wickets and catches but Chris Cook (4-42) was the chief destroyer.
Edge, travelling fifth in the second XI Premier Division and unbeaten in July, meet another form team this Saturday when they visit third-placed Nantwich, who have not lost since June 3.
