STYAL'S men played in the David Horsey medal and Simon Geddis was unstoppable.
His 62 placed him ahead of Sam hall, 65, and Ben Tomlinson and Jacob Oakley, both 66.
Jacob had the lowest gross of 65.
In a Styal seniors white tee medal David Jones won a card play-off on 65 from Jim Stokoe, with Terry Hanna, 66, and Alan Beckett, 67, also in the frame.
A Wednesday stableford at Styal was won by junior star Will Dodds with his fine 40-pointer taking him clear of Mark Emms, 36, and Arthur Jowle, 35.
Styal ladies played for the Holohan Trophy in a betterball stableford and it was won by Olivia Brewster and K Hobbs with 43 points, three more than M Hill and Joan McPherson (who retired injured) and C Pogson and L Dabrowski.
