STYAL FC produced a stunning turnaround on Saturday.
Just three weeks after losing 10-0 to Rylands in Warrington, Styal beat the same team 3-0 at home.
It was the Altrincham Road side's first win since a 6-1 home success against Malpas on October 15.
Styal only included four of the same faces in their starting 11, though there was some feeling of satisfaction for goal scorers Alex Wheelan, two, and Tom Pryce having both featured in last month's hammering.
With Garswood winning at the weekend, Styal would have slipped to bottom spot had they not won.
A Styal breakaway led to Wheelan's neat opening goal after 14 minutes and he doubled the lead when capitalising on a sloppy defensive clearance.
Pryce slide the ball home after visiting keeper Conor Yarwood made a poor clearance.
